Immanuel Lutheran School was founded in 1980. The congregation, feeling a need for a Lutheran School in the area, established ILS as an integral ministry of the Church. The school opened its doors for the first time in September 1980 with 72 students. Since that time we have been blessed with classroom expansions and the addition of a preschool program in 2008. Today we bring over 30 years of success, providing a quality Christian education for students from preschool to 8th grade. Highlights include:
- Dual accreditation by Florida Dept of Education and by the National Lutheran School Accreditation (NLSA)
- Preschool for 3 & 4-year-olds (VPK accepted)
- An outstanding program for Kindergarten through the 8th grade
- Full curriculum including computer instruction, P.E., Spanish, music and middle school electives.
Extended care program, an on-site hot lunch program, athletics, and extra-curricular activities
